The Lonesharks were a very popular and accomplished blues band from Cape Town who appeared at The Blues Room .

Featuring Dave Furgeson on Harmonica The Lonesharks performed the classic blues of the harmonica driven blues bands of the fifties and sixties in the classic style. The band did a series of show at The Blues Room early in 1997. Dave Furgeson is now living and playing in England.
