The Blues Room and BlueWave Entertainment announced the launch of a weekly, live radio broadcast from The Blues Room that began on Sunday, 9 August entitled "BluesRoomRadio".

BluesRoomRadio will be broadcast every Sunday from 5-6:00 PM and is sponsored by JOHNNIE WALKER SCOTCH WHISKY.

The debut broadcast celebrated the launch of the new album by Polygram recording artist "BAYETE".

"BluesRoomRadio" will also be broadcast via satellite on community radio stations throughout southem Africa. THE WAVE FACTORY will provide the satellite link and will videotape the show for broadcast on the soon-to-be-announced "BluesRoomTelevision".

"Musik ye Africa" played on the 16 August, followed by "Africa Maroon", 23 August and "The Boyz" from Capetown on 30 August.
