GATEMOUTH BROWN |

Early in 1997, The Blues Room held press
conferences for American Blues legend Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and American
folksinger and Woodstock opening act, Richie Havens. Gatemouth was on his way to the
Grahamstown Music Festival and Richie was in South Africa to do a series of performances.
Both artists held their audiences mesmerised with musical skills honed over decades of
live and recorded performances. The Blues Room was proud to be graced with the presence of
these two musical giants. |
